In a few weeks, I will celebrate 10 years of self-employment. I have produced several shareware products during that time. All share one underlying characteristic: the program was developed first and the web site was hand-coded after the program was essentially complete. Here, I want to turn this around: complete the web site before starting to develop the product. That means I will be blogging about the development progress of the site and product as I develop them. ... and it will probably be in that order since there is a lot new to me in bringing up this site which I have never done before. I have only vague ideas what kind of product I want to develop and that is yet another reason not to go into extra detail about the product. That will surely follow. I do have a domain name: TextToolKit.com and my notion is to package text management tools into a single interface. I am using Joomla as a content management system as opposed to hand coding the site itself. If you are reading this when first posted, none of the links work. : completely lock the comment area
